anixtaaru je elektronický hudební projekt dvou milovníků hudby a životních partnerů: Annity a AhZ

„Možná se jednou o covidové době bude mluvit jako o nejkreativnějším období. Zažili jsme to všichni. Duo anixtaaru strávilo lockdowny jara a podzimu 2020 v Krkonoších. Na louce s výhledem do středu země. Poprvé v životě vidět, jak do hor přichází zima, den po dni. A stejně poprvé vidět, jak kolem přichází jaro.

Nekonečné množství času, Ableton 9, příruční rekordér a dubler v ruce. K tomu staré čs. filmy na véháeskách, gramofon Tesla, půda plná vinylů a kazet po rodičích a kusé zprávy z politiky. Frustrace, obavy, nervozita, naivita, ale zároveň naděje, láska a chuť být s ostatními.

Album (-/+) je albem koncepčním. Je rozdělené na dvě části. Ta první je o převážně studených pocitech, ta druhá o pocitech hřejivých. Je o cestě ke světlu. Zrcadlo univerzální situace, zrcadlo tehdejších okolností. Tam venku poblázněný svět, v chalupě harmonie a tvorba.“

Conceptual double album of cold and heat

anixtaaru is an electronic music project of two music lovers and life partners: Annity and AhZ

„Maybe one day the covid era will be talked about as the most creative period. We have all experienced it. anixtaaru duo spent the lockdowns of spring and autumn 2020 in the Krkonoše. In a meadow overlooking the middle of the country. For the first time in my life to see winter coming to the mountains, one day at a time. And the same first time to see spring coming around.

Endless amounts of time, Ableton 9, a handheld recorder and a doubler in hand. Plus old Czechoslovak films on VHS tapes, a Tesla turntable, an attic full of my parents‘ vinyl and cassettes, and sketchy news from politics. Frustration, fears, nervousness, naivety, but at the same time hope, love and the desire to be with others.

The album (-/+) is a concept album. It is divided into two parts. The first one is about mostly cold feelings, the second one about warm feelings. It‘s about a journey towards the light. A mirror of the universal situation, a mirror of the circumstances of the time. A world gone mad out there, harmony and creation in the cottage.“
