V úvodní skladbě Kollar poprvé využívá i svůj hlas. Navozuje přitom různé nálady a atmosféry a reflektuje přitom své nejniternější pocity.
A i když skladby vznikaly velice spontánně, album působí úžasně kompaktně.

David Kollar je jeden z nejvýznamnějších představitelů současné slovenské hudební scény. Vzešel z klasických podob jazzu, aby objevil volné formy improvizace za použití digitálních technologií, jichž se rádi účastní světově uznávaní hudebníci. Vede improvizační kapelu KoMaRa s Patem Mastelottem, členem legendární skupiny King Crimson a italským trumpetistou Paolem Rainerim. Dlouhodobě spolupracuje s trumpetisty Arvem Henriksenem a Erikem Truffazem. Vystupuje s významným rakouským tvůrcem elektronické hudby Christianem Fenneszem, kytaristou Eivindem Aarsetem, Timem Bownessem či například Marco Minnemannem a jeho kytara zazněla třeba na albech Stevena Wilsona. Je autorem řady filmové a scénické hudby.

Autorem ilustrace na obalu Where are they...? and other stories je Kamil Vojnar, známý český grafik a fotograf žijící ve Francii. Jeho práce zdobí také nahrávky Suzanne Vega, Dream Theater, Buty a další.

Artistic direction is often marked by many different events, and a perceptive artist can inspiringly transform them into a form he or she had no idea of before. That's how David Kollar's three EPs, now released together on one CD with the help of his friends Arve Henriksen and Rick Cox (Jon Hassell's collaborator), can be summed up. David masterfully varies the sounds of delicate guitar with electronics and samples.

Kollar also uses his voice for the first time on the opening track. He evokes different moods and atmospheres while reflecting his innermost feelings. In Where are They and Requiem for Uncle, Kollar deals with the deaths of his relatives, while the remaining four tracks are based on his experiences with mental and medical disorders and are named after drugs for anxiety or cardiac arrhythmia. Although this is a very electronic record, it is also a very authentically tactile experience of Kollar's immediate and confident playing. And even though the songs were written very spontaneously, the album feels wonderfully compact.

David Kollar is one of the most important representatives of the contemporary Slovak music scene. He emerged from the classical forms of jazz to discover free forms of improvisation using digital technologies, in which world-renowned musicians like to participate. He leads the improvisation band KoMaRa with Pat Mastelotto, a member of the legendary King Crimson, and Italian trumpeter Paolo Raineri. He has long collaborated with trumpeters Arvo Henriksen and Erik Truffaz. He has performed with the prominent Austrian electronic music creator Christian Fennesz, guitarist Eivind Aarset, Tim Bowness and Marco Minnemann, and his guitar has been featured on albums by Steven Wilson. He has written numerous film and stage scores.

The author of the illustration on the cover of Where are they...? and other stories is Kamil Vojnar, a well-known Czech graphic designer and photographer living in France. His work also adorns recordings by Suzanne Vega, Dream Theater, Buty and others.
