Scénická hudba k divadelní hře Naivního divadla Liberec Horror vacui inspirovaná životem a dílem grafika, malíře a spisovatele Josefa Váchala v jeho dobrovolném exilu ve Studeňanech na Jičínsku, z jeho dopisů-románů jím adresovaných Josefu Hodkovi, Jakubu Demlovi a dalším. A především ve Váchalově knize Ďáblova zahrádka aneb Přírodopis strašidel.

Imaginativní inscenace chce poskytnout vhled do života a tvorby jedné z našich největších uměleckých osobností 20. století – grafika, malíře, řezbáře, spisovatele a filozofa Josefa Váchala (1884–1969). Mezi nejslavnější díla tohoto za svého života zcela nedoceněného umělce patří parodie na brakovou literaturu, Krvavý román nebo ilustrace k Hradu smrti Jakuba Demla.

Inscenaci režíroval loukář, hudebník a režisér Filip Homola, podepsaný pod oceňovaným projektem Jsou místa oblíbená tmou, kde nikdy a nic na ostrovech se skrývá odlehlých. O zásadní výtvarnou složku se postaral pravidelný spolupracovník NDL Robert Smolík (O beránkovi, který spadl z nebe, Šššš. Šššš. Hůůů. Haf! a mnoho dalších). Filip Homola je též autorem scénické hudby k této inscenaci.

Scenic music for the play Horror vacui by the Naive Theatre Liberec inspired by the life and work of graphic artist, painter and writer Josef Váchal in his voluntary exile in Studeňany in the Jičín region, from his letters-novels addressed by him to Josef Hodek, Jakub Deml and others. And above all in Váchal's book Ďáblova zahrádka aneb Přírodopis strašidel.

This imaginative production aims to provide an insight into the life and work of one of our greatest artistic personalities of the 20th century – the graphic artist, painter, carver, writer and philosopher Josef Váchal (1884-1969). Among the most famous works of this artist, who was completely unappreciated during his lifetime, are parodies of Braque literature, Krvavý román and the illustrations for Jakub Demel's Hrad smrti.

The production was directed by meadow artist, musician and director Filip Homola, who signed on to the award-winning Jsou místa oblíbená tmou, kde nikdy a nic na ostrovech se skrývá odlehlých. Robert Smolík, a regular NDL collaborator, took care of the essential artistic component (O beránkovi, který spadl z nebe, Šššš. Šššš. Hůůů. Haf! and many others). Filip Homola is also the author of the incidental music for this production.
